Welcome to
Pack 390
Thank you for visiting!
We see Cub Scouts as an opportunity well worth the investment. It provides you, your child, and the rest of your family with a fun way to spend time together reinforcing positive values — character, leadership, personal fitness, and citizenship. Our Pack provides yearlong opportunities for your child to interact with a small group of peers: experiencing the outdoors, building self-esteem, and creating friendships. All without a screen or unhealthy competition!
The families of Pack 390 recognize the tremendous value Cub Scouts provides to our children and we want to provide that same opportunity to you and your family!
Mission
At Pack 390, our mission is to prepare girls and boys in grades K-5 to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law (What are the Scout Oath and Scout Law? | Boy Scouts of America (scouting.org)). Our Pack is designed to be fun, engaging, and educational, providing opportunities for our Cub Scouts to grow into responsible, confident, and capable individuals.
To achieve our mission, we organize inclusive activities that provide a safe environment for every Cub Scout to learn and practice the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Benefits of Cub Scouts
Scouting America and Tufts University surveyed nearly 1,800 Cub Scouts and nearly 400 non-Scouts under age 12 using both interviews and survey data.
