POPCORN SZN! Popcorn info for returning scouts!
Hello Returning Scout Families,
As you know, a long standing tradition in Scouting is raising money through popcorn sales to support and subsidize our Cubs' fun activities all year round. I have arranged to begin popcorn sales a little early for those scouts who have experience selling. Some of you have already noticed the shifts posted for this weekend and beyond. There are still shifts available for this weekend at Lake Road Market. Please feel free to sign up for a maximum of two shifts to give each family a chance to grab a shift. If you want to pick up popcorn from my house for wagon sales, I am available starting Friday, send me a text and we can arrange.
Pack 390 will, again, ask each Scout to either sell popcorn or to do a, "buyout." My Scout has increased his confidence and learned many new skills through popcorn sales and so we choose to sell popcorn, you may choose whichever works for your family though! If you would like to sell popcorn, following is all the information you will need to have a successful fundraiser. I am here to help you get you to your goal.
Our sales goals are $450/Cub. If you have multiple family members in the Pack, the goal for additional Cubs is $225. Lions will also be asked to meet the lower sales goal. Buyouts for non-sellers is $200.
Start by downloading the Trail's End App, I have attached instructions on how to download and use the app for popcorn sales. You can login on the app on your smartphone or via the web to register with Pack 390.
You can participate in 3 ways:
1) Storefronts,
2) Wagon sales, if you are interested in wagon sales, please contact me and I will set up wagon sales for you by neighborhood, and
3) Online sales by sharing the link directly from your smartphone or laptop to social media, family, or friends.
And remember, around 40% of all proceeds from popcorn sales support and subsidize our Pack directly and about 70% stays local. And, in case your kid is motivated by prizes, there are many to choose from in the Trail's End app, we also have a few special prizes planned in our Den!
If you have questions please feel free to text/call: 216.773.2866.
Take care,
Shannon Gilfillan (Jack Limoli's mother)
